Quality & Risk Administrator, up to £20,000, Manchester

A Quality & Risk Assistant / Administrator is required to work with the Head of Quality & Risk /Chief Operating Officer in the National Quality & Risk team of a national law firm. The role is to ensure that the firm is compliant with all contractual and regulatory obligations.

Candidates applying for the role will come from a professional services / legal background and will offer very strong administrative skills. Advanced IT skills are required, along with the use of running spreadsheets and reports. Daily duties will include;

Assisting in developing, initiating, maintaining & revising policies & procedures for the operation of the Quality & Risk programme and the Firm as a whole. Date Inputting and updating of information. Review processes & systems. Responsibility for records management. Researching legislation, government directives, contractual analysis and any other areas within the remit of Quality & Risk. Attending committee meetings and minute taking where necessary and such other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time.

Our client is a UK leading insurance law firm with an office in Essex and in the North West of England.  A rare opportunity is available for a Trainee Legal Secretary to join the secretarial support unit in the Manchester office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing additional typing support to ensure effective running of all departments. The main duties will include, preparing accurate correspondence and documents through audio typing and providing support to other secretaries as and when required.

Candidates applying for the role will ideally have a first stage touch typing qualification, along with excellent communication and organisational skills. Candidates from a legal administration background, who has gained basic typing skills would be ideal. Those offering experience of using a case management system will also be advantageous.
